Tier-2 Program Evaluators Training:19–21 November 2025

The Board of Accreditation for Engineering and Technical Education (BAETE) successfully conducted a “Residential Tier-2 Program Evaluators Training” at Hotel InterContinental Dhaka from 19–21 November 2025. This advanced program was specifically designed to enhance the professional capacity, analytical skills, and evaluation expertise of Program Evaluators, thereby reinforcing the quality, credibility, and consistency of the accreditation process.

A total of 20 distinguished participants, including 18 from academia and 2 from industry, were rigorously selected based on their exemplary performance in the Tier-1 Program Evaluators Training. The training offered immersive, hands-on learning, focusing on advanced accreditation standards, outcome-based education (OBE) assessment, and best practices in program evaluation, fully aligned with the BAETE Accreditation Manual, Version 3. Participants gained the expertise, confidence, and practical skills required to conduct evaluations that uphold high-quality, internationally benchmarked engineering education standards.

The training contributed to building a competent and confident pool of evaluators, supporting continuous improvement in engineering education quality assurance and strengthening BAETE’s internationally aligned accreditation practices.
