Engr. Md. Shahadat Hossain (Shiblu), PEng
Engr. Md. Shahadat Hossain (Shiblu) is the honorary general secretary of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) (2020-22). He obtained his BSc in Civil Engineering in 1990 from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET). He was also registered as a PEng in 2014 by the Bangladesh Professional Engineers Registration Board (BPERB).
Engr. Hossain has contributed to several important mega projects in the country as a consultant to private companies. He became the managing director of Contech Vision Ltd., and he was also the director of the Barapukuria Power Plant Management Board under BPDB, a consultant at Development Design Consultants Ltd. (DDC), and a senior engineer at ACE Consultants Ltd.
